Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Most burger restaurants in the United States often serve hamburgers with French fries and other condiments. If you have a liking for burgers in the United States, then you won't be disappointed. I will admit I'm not a burger guy; if I have three or four a year, that's a lot for me. I was in mood to eat a burger and to see what the fuss was all about. Bottom line- big, thick, juicy, greasy burger. It's basically a double sized burger, and the cheese was super tasty and melted perfectly. The meat tasted like meat (amazing, huh?), and the bread seemed fresh and well made. The fries were just average however - they were not crispy enough (they need to cook them until golden brown, not merely yellow). In addition, they shove them into a styrofoam cup, so the bottom fries get greasy and soft. Still, this is a cheap place for yummy, thick burgers. I'll come back for sure!

always good food and better them mcd or bk
(4)Craig B.
Good burger and fries. Over priced though. You have to ask for a baby burger or they give you a double patty burger by default. Also, way too many fries. The place is run like an assembly line and you are just another sheep standing in line. Inside seating is open and very noisy. People awkwardly standing around 5-10 mins waiting for their burgers. Outside seating has a few basic black metal tables. Bottom line... burgers are good but not worth the slightly-high price, standing-in-line and poor ambiance where you just want to get your burger and run for your car as fast as you can.

Can never go wrong at five guys. Only problem was I asked for a single cheeseburger and they gave me a double.I didn't mind tho.
(4)Melissa B.
Great hot, juicy burgers with so much flavor! The fries were the best! You can really taste the potato and not the fried flavor. Enjoy the atmosphere and the family nature to this place. Munched on the peanuts while we waited in line. I will keep going back!
(5)Bob B.
Great place to get a great burger...for just opening their service is great and the food is well...GOOD and I would recommend this location if you live in Boca and like grease!
(4)Dijon Y.
Great burger. Good size portion. Tastes fresh and delicious. The cheese is perfectly melted. Great burger in a casual environment. You can choose from lots of extras like veggies for free. The side order of fries is also huge. They have free peanuts, but peanuts don't really go too well with the burgers. Free drink refills. My favorite burger joint.
(4)matthew M.
Great burgers!
(4)frank w.
Very average burger. Awful fries. Rather buy a box of Bubba Bergers at Publix and make them fresh and juicy at home.
(2)Kitty A.
The quality at all five guys is amazing.

So I have been on a burger tear as of late and I has been waiting to give Five Guys a try. Although the majority of my burger journey's have been in Chicago, it just worked out that I tried Five Guys while on a short trip to Florida. Only ranking Five Guys 3 stars was a little difficult, but when I think of some of the other burger places that I gave 4 and 5 stars to (see Kuma, DMK, Prairie Grass, etc...), it seemed to be the appropriate rating. While there was nothing bad to say about the burger itself, the fact that the fries were what I will remember most about the meal, took away from the burger. The fries are cooked in peanut oil, which must be what gives them their amazing color and flavor. However, the burger itself was good. I particularly like how they stuck with the classic bun. Although a pretzel bun is a great thing, a lot can be said for a burger that works with a classic bun. One thing I didn't care for was that, the meat was cooked one way, and that was well done. That tells me one thing, it was previously frozen, and they had to make sure to cook any bacteria out of it. I wouldn't steer anyone away from Five Guys, but I also don't know how inclined I am to return. Great place to try once, especially for the value you receive (low prices relative to amount of food).
(3)Jay M.
Probably the best burger and fries you can get anywhere. Some will argue that a rare burger is better. Save rare for steaks, burgers should be cooked well done and juicy.
(5)Thais A.
Pretty good for a burger joint in Boca. I just got back from NYC and unfortunately these don't compare. But, I love that the burgers are made to order and that you can put anything your little heart desires on them. The free peanuts are great too and the staff is always pleasent. They always overload the fries in the bag which is awesome!
(4)Mike L.
As someone who has lived in the DC Metro area(where 5 guys originated) for the past 5 years, and has had his share of 5 guys burgers...... I give 5 guys 5 stars! If you are looking for a deliciously clean restaurant style burger, five guys is NOT the place for you.......If you are looking for a deliciously messy, greasy, loaded with veggies, wrapped in aluminum foil burger with amazing fries(the cajun ones are my favorite), this is the place for you! I'm from Boca, but visit family often, and have been bragging about 5 guys for the past several years and am excited it's there! Advice: -The small portion of fries is more than enough for 2 people -Eat the burger within 20 minutes of it being made, otherwise the grease will saturate your bun -Try the hot dogs, they aren't bad

Good, fresh and inexpensive enough. Load up your burger with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and all kinds of other goodness. I've been to locations around the country and it usually tastes good. It's the east coast's version of In-n-Out, but not quite (nothing like an In-N-Out!). Friendly service, but it takes a while since they cook each patty fresh. Call ahead if you're feeling impatient. Free peanuts are a nice touch.
(4)Mike K.
I just don't get it. Decent burger at best. Place is way too dirty for me.
(2)zendick h.
Great food as always with five guys, but layout is different then most, too many entrances/exits so when busy its a pain, tables don't get bussed fast enough (boca-ites are lazy and don't always clean up after them selves and they love to rearrange the furniture) lines build up a little more then they should, at ordering and receiving.
(3)Carol W.
It's inexpensive and it hits the spot. Double patties and the burgers are made to order. The beef is fresh and tastes like beef! Other than that....it's no In N Out or Shake Shack or Fatburger. But it's really good for its price!
(4)Brandon W.
Enjoyed the burger. I was told though to go back and try the fries!
(3)Thomas W.
I've been coming here for a while now. Being a burger freak i've had many when i was staying over in California for the past couple years. I am a fan of the fries they have here, Cajun are very tasty, and a good switch up from normal. A regular fry is beyond enough for you and friend. If I didn't wanna travel to Ft. Lauderdale or Delray for a better quick burger, this would be my choice for the Boca Raton area. There are a few places in florida that would rate 4.0-4.5 stars in the burger section, and they aren't near Boca... Jack's Old-Fashioned Hamburgers off Cypress(Oakland Park one isn't as good) is probably the closest legit burger you can get near Boca Raton. But I will say, if I'm in the mood for a quick burger i'd deff hit this place up, as i did today. prompt service, good, but not exactly amazing burger, and plenty of fresh cut fries. Solid 3.5 stars in my book.
(4)Ben F.
With out a doubt, the best burger I've ever had. It easily beats any upscale burger joint I have been to. The burgers are perfectly cooked, juicy with a little pink in the middle. secondly, they gave an immense amount of fries. We ordered two regular fries and not only were the cups full, but the large brown paper bag they came in was filled about 2/5ths of the way full. The fries are perfectly cooked, and perfectly salted. Throw in free refills and you've got yourself an amazing burger joint.
(5)Cherine A.
I had my first Five Guys burger a few months back at the Margate location, and raved about it to anyone who would listen. So I was really looking forward to this meal, but sadly it left me feeling underwhelmed. One of the features I liked so much about Five Guys is that they make the burgers well done but still juicy. I don't like seeing pink in ground beef. It's probably a psychological thing, but I just don't like it. As for the fries, I wasn't a HUGE fan but they were pretty good before. So I sat down for this meal, only to find the fries were barely cooked and had an almost raw potato taste to them. And the burger, although it still tasted pretty good (not as good as the one in Margate, however), was definitely very pink in the middle. Needless to say, I didn't leave here in a post-burger euphoria. Perhaps I caught them on a bad night. But if this had been my first Five Guys meal, I wouldn't have understood all of the hype. So if you've heard all of the raving reviews of this place and are going to give it a try, I'd suggest trying the Margate location (on Atlantic Blvd and Rock Island Rd) instead.
(3)Connie G.
Best fast food burger around. Love the cajun fries and bacon cheesburger. Be prepared to share a small fry, way too much for 1 person.
(4)Shorth H.
The interior was a dump (typical fast food place) but the burgers were very good. Sometimes the best food is served in the dumpiest places. I'll definitely be back.
(4)Joe D.
I absolutely enjoy these burgers. Not the best ever. But thoroughly enjoyable. Best part is the consistency, not just from this location, but for every 5 guys that I've been to, which is nearly a dozen in the state of Florida. Oh, this visit was a lunch date with my 5 year old daughter, who is generally very picky eater. She devoured the burger, that being said I'm very impressed!
(4)Ron L.
Really good burgers but be prepared to wait, especially if the grill is backed up. I found the fries a bit soggy and burgers are only cooked well-done. The place is very clean and eating in the dining area is fine. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. In short, I liked the burger, the fries were fresh-cut but soggy, and the service is a bit slow. Me, I'd choose Shake Shack over Five Guys.
(4)Rocco A.
The atmosphere and service was great. They serve unlimited peanuts for free so for someone like me who loves eating, this was a great appetizer while I waited. He burger was nice and big and handled with care. I was gonna take a pic of the food but needed a bite first (see attached). I'll definitely come back
(5)Michael O.
Sorry to say service was lousy tonight. We came in just before dinner rush. 25 dollars later we waited way to long for 4 hot dogs and a regular fry which was not full and sodas. They also skimped on toppings. I blame management due to lack of training. I actually overheard an employee telling someone he is training new guys. Really? On a Saturday night? Been regulars for years at 5 guys. Will continue to eat at Five Guy's. Not a happy camper tonight though...
(2)John B.
At $6+ for a burger I was expecting a "burger experience" or even a "burger revelation." Their burger was decent, a couple steps up from a regular fast-food burger. But not even at the In-N-Out level, and not as good as BurgerFi in my opinion. The bun turned to mush before I finished the burger.
(3)George P.
5 Guys rocks, it took them 6 months to open up the Deerfield Beach location and it was worth the wait. We have plenty of burger joint east of Federal Highway, and I can't criticize Charm City (the Big Sloppy is the nutz!) or Gimmeaburger, but there not 5 Guys and we finally have one in DB
(5)Daniel K.
Five guys is greasy and heavy. And if you want a burger go to burger fi, shake shack, or even McDonalds over this place. Just be ready to shower after you eat dinner cause you will feel like you were dunked in oil
(2)Joshua M.
One of the best burgers you are going to eat. Five Guys is a chain, but a good example of how a chain should operate. It's basic, burgers and fries (okay they have hot dogs too, which are also pretty good). Their fries are very good for sure, but I just wish they had an option for cheese fries (maybe this is a secret menu option, but I'm not aware of it). And their burgers are perfect, and greasy too, but that's a plus. This location is a bit awkward, it always seems dark inside, as if their lighting needs a bit of work. In addition, it's shaped like a rectangle, making it a long restaurant. I don't think I've ever seen this place crowded at all, but the area it is in kind of makes this location hidden. The pricing is fair, although if they came down a bit, especially on the hot dogs, I think it would make me want to come here even more. A burger is a thing made often, but rarely perfected. Five Guys has done it. Food (B+), Pricing (C+), Atmosphere (B-), Service (B)

Five Guys was our FIRST stop after a harrowing flight to the holy land this winter. My dad drove us here even before we got our rental car. Our 9 year old had a BLT which was loaded with bacon - to her delight and the rest of us had "little" burgers with loads or free toppings. A small order of fries (tip - order them with no salt - you'll get a fresh, hot batch and can then control the salt content) is plenty as they toss a handful into the paper bag in addition to the order. ONLY ORDER A SMALL FRY and you will still get a ton of fries. Thank goodness this location does not blare the nusic as so many other locations do. Thanks, 5 guys!
(4)Hannah A.
Five Guys is a very well organized burger place, but why they call it that is beyond me, there's usually 2-3 guys and maybe a gal or 2 behind the counter. The hamburgers are very good, I recommend not getting a regular sized burger unless you have a large appetite, other wise get a little burger, it's plenty large itself. I think most people would settle for plain fries, as they pretty much throw in another 3 servings of salt in the bag either way. The service is quick and easy, I think many would settle for a nice burger at Five Guys!
(4)Jack R.
Five Guys overall is a pretty good restaurant. They have the best burgers in the whole world. They are nice and juicy. The service is very quick. The fries are awesome. They taste delicious. If you love burgers I would go to Five Guys.
(3)Scott R.
Always a great place to get a burger - I love that they are generous with the fries and not too $
(5)Peter Q.
When I first ate at 5 Guys I was very excited. Really enjoyed the burger with unlimited toppings and huge amount of tasty fries. My most recent trip I realized there is nothing special about the overcooked burger which did not seem fresh. Peanuts are a nice distraction and fries still plentiful and tasty. The burger is what I came for and it now too small for me, and just not fresh or tasty enough. I can get this burger anywhere. I will return but not so often.
(2)Jennifer P.
What can I say about Five Guys? Well.... I'm pretty biased because I am from the Maryland/DC area.... where Five Guys originated from. So, clearly I am going to be a big fan. Any place that has malt vinegar on the counter ready to use... is my kind of place. I'll get to the significance of the vinegar in a little. Five Guys is probably the most greasiest, messiest, unhealthy burger around... but I will continue to chow down on it! What do I always order? Little Cheeseburger with: lettuce, tomato, ketchup, relish and pickles. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes I get a little ambitious and I add hot sauce. Their burgers are always perfectly cooked... and the bread is always perfectly toasted and buttery and delicious at all the same time. I don't know what they put on the bread that I always end up eating every last bite. Never... and I say NEVER leave without getting Cajun fries. Ok, but listen to me. If you are eating solo... get a small fries, not regular. What I love about Five Guys is that they will give you a small fries... but then they throw basically another small (amount) of fries in your bag. You're getting a regular amount anyway. But this is where the vinegar comes in. It's a Maryland thing. We put vinegar on our fries and have to shame in saying it. It's the only way to go. Trust me on this. Is this a chain? Yes... Will I continue to go? HECK YES!! WHen I need a delicous, greasy burger with amazing spicy Cajun fries... I'm going to Five Guys! McDonalds... move aside... Five Guys is the only place I go.
(4)AdJess D.
Great burger - UNBELIEVABLE fries and the service is top notch! Their online ordering makes it way too convenient for me though! #MOO!
(5)Rachel M.
Sometimes in life, you need a very delicious burger. You need said burger prepared quickly and without frill. I always choose "All of the Way" and enjoy everything from grilled onions, all my tried and true condiment faves and mushrooms! They move quickly for the Boca rush hour and never disappoint!
(4)Adam S.
Probably one of the friendliest fast food staff's I've met. Burgers were huge. Didn't think I could find burgers I like more than Portillo's but these are right up there with them.
(5)Nick B.
A five star for a fast-food chain? Absolutely. Here's why: 1. Consistency of food. I can go to any Five Guys and order a cheeseburger all-the-way with a side of Cajun fries and know what I'm going to get. This location is no exception to that rule -- the food is just as delicious as any other Five Guys I've been to. 2. Friendly employees. These people seem to actually care about their job(s) and it shows. 3. Free peanuts! How can you NOT like free peanuts?! (Okay, if you're allergic, then definitely, you'd hate them, but then again, if you are allergic, you aren't stepping a foot anywhere near this place.) 4. Decent parking. So, there you have it. If I'm in the mood for a delicious cheeseburger with a side of spectacular Cajun fries...you'll find me here!
(5)Abel K.
still the best burger around. and ive really tried to prove myself wrong with other burgers like charm city and such but i cant do it... 5 guys wins..5 guys wins.
(5)Jason G.
There is a Five Guys backlash now due to all the newer hipper trendy burger joints popping up. Five Guys is good, damn good. You know what you're getting. It's not the worlds best burger but it's a really good fast food burger and that is key. Fast - Food - Burger. Repeat. While places like In-N-Out may reign supreme and newer places like BurgerFi and Shake Shack are dominating the frat demographic, Five Guys is a very good alternative. Their prices are a little high for what you get, but their fries are the best of the bunch in my humble. Their menu is pretty simplistic as it should be, it's a freaking burger joint. If you're looking for a quick cheap fast food meal, I'd go to Wendy's or something. This is one of those every 6 month indulgent meals you allow yourself when you're craving something fatty and don't mind the calories or cholesterol. For the fast food burger options in SoFla, Five Guys still at the top. Fair warning, their service is very slow during normal lunch hours so I find it best to go later in the day.
(4)Brenna L.
Always clean and consistently amazing burgers. What's not to like? A little on the expensive side, but the price is reflected in the quality.
(4)K V.
Eh...burgers are good...hate the fries in the bag thing...greasy and not that tasty...
(3)Chloe M.
The burger is good. It doesn't feel so "fast foody". For me even the smallest fries is too much and we usually end up splitting it. The only reason I took off one star is I think it is a bit pricey for what it is, also because sometimes the burger is overcooked.
(4)Brian R.
In the pantheon of great burger joints, Five Guys stands behind all time leaders like Tommy's Original and Fatburger in Los Angeles, and In and Out in the Southwest. In the East though, there are few that go toe-to-toe with them for great hamburgers. They have boxes of peanuts for you to nibble on while you wait for your burger, a wait, I might add, that isn't htat long. Their fries are cooked in peanut oil, and are absolutely fresh. That being said, I'll still take In and Out's fresh fries because they don't tend to overcook them as much as they do at Five Guys. The burgers are fresh meat, generously portioned, and you can add a slew of toppings to them. Some days are better than others for the burgers. The day crew has the late night crew topped for grilling at this location. One of the few places open until 10:00pm and serving in Boca, where 6pm is the Retiree's Midnight.
(4)Guil M.
I loove Five Guys burgers! There isn't much else to add to what everyone else already said in their reviews. The place is super clean and the people working there are always very nice. I like the method they use for ordering your food and everything they have is of excellent quality. The burgers are just how I like them-- lot's of melted cheese and crispy bacon to contrast the textures. The bun is perfect and the other toppings are as fresh as it gets! The regular fries are good and they also have cajun fries, which are pretty good as well.
(5)Bill S.
Burgers, fries, hot dogs - need I say any more? The food is upscale hamburgers and fries and are very good. This place is way better than McDonalds, etc. and also priced about 3x more than fast food hamburger joints. Free peanuts are offered, so if you have an allergy, this will be a problem for you.
(4)Trevor C.
Only 3 guys at this shop. Didn't seem to have the same fun spirit that I've witnessed in other shops, but the burger was good.
(4)Jessica S.
It is 5 Guys. Good, fast, & cheap burgers with lots of toppings and some kick butt fries! I am gluten free and so they will put my burger on lettuce and the fries are gluten free since nothing else goes into the frier. Always have a great burger and fries here!
(4)Peter L.
I'm not impressed. The burgers were just mediocre, they weren't particularly cheap, and the service was fairly slow even though there were only a handful of customers. I would have liked to order a milk shake but they don't serve them. Oh, and the peanuts were stale. I have to say I do like the fries and the portions they give you are easily enough to share. If I could combine Jack's burgers (Fort Lauderdale and Pompano) with Five guys fries, I would be a happy camper.
(2)Greshka P.
Everyone's raving about 5 Guys so of course, I have to try it. Meet my sister, and her coworkers for lunch and there's a wait line. Thankfully it moves fast. Plus, they have peanuts for you to have while you wait. Really like that they have the "Little" burger options on their menu, a regular one would be too much for me and make me unable to work the rest of the day. Pair that with their fries (really good and a Large is enough to share) and you're good to go. The other thing my sister's friends like to do is order some burgers and hot-dogs for the table and share, that way the get to have "the best of everything" (as they say) every time. This is a good lunch spot, your in and out in time, not expensive, and good food.
(3)Eric T.
For a fast food joint with good, hot, tasty burgers and fries, I'm handing out four solid stars to Five Guys. My burger came out juicy (not greasy) and hot, while their generous bag of fries was firm, hot and perfectly salted. Despite all the positives, In-N-Out Burger for me, still rules this simple, fast food space. There's plenty of toppings to choose from at Five Guys, but I do wish they offered shakes and a choice of cheeses, other than the too tame and familiar American. A value oriented combo platter would also be nice, instead of having your burger, fries and drink all rung up separately.
(4)David M.
We Love Five Guys Burgers. I believe they offer a great fast food experience. I especially love the new smaller order of the Cajun Fries.
(4)Tim F.
The paramount burger and fry fast food restaurant has finally come to Boca. It is in a good location, as it is only 5 minutes away from the Glades entrance/exit to I-95, 5 minutes from the Cinemark (Muvico) Theature and 2 minutes from Town Center Mall. Anyone familiar with Five Guys, can expect the same delicious freshly made burgers and fries served at the other locations. However, this is the first location that I have been where they issue little cardboard bowls for the peanuts---I can't believe it take 5G's this long to provide them. I will say that the service here is not as friendly as other locations and the wait was a bit long. However, they have been opened up for only about a month, so maybe they just to work out the kinks?
(4)Joe M.
Open only 3 days. I''l make this short and sweet. Pros Peanuts in the shell while you wait Efficient staff Delicious burger with lots of choices of toppings Good fries Inexpensive Cons Long line(12 minutes from entry to placing order) Very noisy but hey its a burger joint No choice on how you want it cooked
(3)Sara S.
I'm getting hungry thinking about it! The workers are friendly and try to move the line along. The place is clean, they wear gloves, cook in front of you and the food is hot. It gets really busy during lunch hour and sometimes they only have one person taking the order so if you're in a rush don't go, if you have decent time to spare go for it. Then again, even if I was in a rush I'd go cause its goood. Make sure you pay attention and look at the little screen sometimes they mishear and put the wrong thing down. They put mushrooms accidentally once, ketchup one time instead of hot sauce, didn't taste bad but I was looking forward/craving what I wanted. They were understanding and made me a new one. There are big boxes of peanuts that you can eat while you wait in line like an "appetizer" lol. The burgers(little and regular), hot dogs,(one of the additions I get is grilled onions=yum, try it out) are both delicious and if you want fries get cajun BUT they aren't thattt great. I've had better. They give lots and lots of fries so if you aren't that hungry don't get them because even if you order the small fries it's a lot!! The regular burger is big, so if you have a kid you may want to get the small one or if you fill up easily get the small. Every time I go I feel like the prices keep changing on me. Probably cause they think everybody in Boca has money lying around. It could be expensive for some.
(4)Martin K.
I would say this is the quintescencial home made american hamburger, You can actually get it the way you wanted. They could'n care less on fat, calories and so on. This is just a place for a great burger!
(5)Miriam P.
Yummy, but nothing special. OK, so it isn't Burger King. No, it is much better than that. But after hearing all the hype, I was expecting to be blown away. I am a recovering vegitarian, I rarely shove a hunk of beef into my mouth, but when I do, it better be damn good. Loved the choices of toppings, tht was my favorite part. Honestly it just made me long for a Fudruckers burger. Fries were ordinary, but loved that they had vinigar for them. The music was a little loud inside and outside seating was available. So if I really wanted a fast food burger, this is where i would go. But for a burger as a meal, I'd rather drive the 60 miles to La Moon in Miami.
(3)Gabe D.
I'm originally from NJ/NYC so unfortunately I have to compare Five Guys burgers to burgers that I've had in the past. Five Guys might not be the best burgers I've ever had but they are definitely the best burgers I've had in Florida. Burgers are made as you order, you have a choice of many toppings and the fries are the best. These aren't restaurant style burgers...think big, messy, greasy, loaded with toppings and oozing cheese. Eat while hot for the best experience!
(4)Jay B.
Great great fries awesome burgers treat yourself !
